With a range of amenities, shops, dining options and entertainment, Skygate is the perfect destination for a family day out!
If you’re little ones are hungry, Magical Rice is great for sushi on the go while Sushi Rail is a fun dine-in experience. The Burrito Bar has a kids’ menu consisting of mini Mexican items starting from just $4. If it’s chicken the kids love, order a Zambeekas kids’ meal with your choice of a mini burger, 3 chicken tenders or 6 nuggets with chips and a juice for under $10. Transit Tavern’s kids’ menu offers five pint-sized meals served with chips, salad and a complimentary soft drink. Plus, you can add a scoop of ice cream with your choice of topping for just $2!
After you’ve enjoyed a meal at Skygate Dining, let the kids run off some energy at our giant Great Barrier Reef-inspired playscape. The child-friendly artwork by Cairns artist Brian Robinson is believed to be the largest of its kind in Australia. Entitled ‘Woven Wonders of the Reef’, the artwork provides an interesting structure for children to interact with – without getting their feet wet!
Located just across the road, Golf Central BNE’s putt putt course has been designed with every level of player in mind so it’s suitable for all ages. The whole family can putt their way through a series of water holes, undulating greens and ricochets off the beautiful quartz granite rock work. Travel through 18 destinations and don’t forget to complete your scorecard passport. Best of all, no bookings are required so you can ‘swing’ by at any time. Golf Central’s on site café also offers a kids breakfast and lunch menu, and is an awesome venue to host your next kids party. Check out the kids’ packages on offer, including trapeze and circus skills classes, here.
